Event Overview
If your child can write well, then school will be a breeze. In this writing workshop, students from 3rd grade on will develop skills to help them in their academic and creative writing. Students will learn to write with focus, use evidence from text to back up opinion based papers and work on sentence structure while finding strong words and images to add to the richness of their writing. This class is part of Success Tutoring's Saturday Academy. Each Saturday of the academy we stress one important aspect for academic success and give your child the tools to succeed. After which private tutoring sessions can be scheduled.

Tabia Ellis is a teacher who enjoys finding new and innovative ways for children to succeed in school. She has a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Michigan and experience teaching children from many backgrounds. In addition she holds a theatre and dance degree from the University of Michigan and likes to infuse arts into the classroom.
