Event Overview

You've constructed your worm bin, dutifully added food scraps and newspaper... now what?? If fruit flies swarm every time you open your bin or if it smells just awful, bring your problem worm bin or pictures of your bin for a troubleshooting session.

In this class we will go over the basics of keeping a worm bin healthy and utilize effective home remedies to solve common problems. In the second half of the class we will go over different compost harvesting techniques so you can use your castings!

In the picture are castings I harvested from one of my worm bins.
