MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

Jill Carey (E-RYT 200, RCYT) is the president and co-founder of Mission Propelle, an after-school empowerment program for girls in elementary school combining yoga, literacy enrichment, and mentoring. As an avid marathoner, Jill regularly logs 26.2 miles, but still struggles to close the distance from her fingertips to her toes. Knowing firsthand that some bodies just don't bend, she teaches her yoga classes from the inside out – emphasizing the journey of involution and self-acceptance rather than the pursuit of a teardrop butt.
