Learn how to build a simple worm bin, where to get worms, how to feed and care for your worms, and how to use the compost they make for you.
This is a fun way to recycle by making a bin out of an old container or dresser drawer, learn how to recycle kitchen waste, and meet people interested in gardening and composting.
Children really like learning about worms and helping take care of them.This class is perfect for adults and children. Come see how red wigglers can work for you!

Shelley has taken the Master Gardener Volunteer courses in Wisconsin and South Dakota and has volunteered hundreds of hours doing research and teaching gardening classes. She has taught composting classes and helped organize garden walks and gardening seminars. She enjoys teaching children about gardening at a local farmer's market on Saturdays.
