Hands down, best event I've hosted in my office space to date. To start, booking the event itself was super easy with the help of Jemal. He worked closely with me to find a class that my members would like, that was within my budget, and could be done in my space. He was in constant communication with me throughout the process.

The class itself (a pasta making class) exceeded expectations. Chef Phillipe was not only incredibly talented and knowledgable, but super engaging and patient with my members. It also didn't hurt that he was funny and made the class a blast. 10/10 will book again. I would highly recommend a class like this for a small to medium sized group. And bring wine.

Super fun and hands on class- even with a large number of people, Philippe makes sure that you are able to try your hand at any part of the process that you would like. I feel confident I could make my own pasta if I got my hands on a pasta press.

Also learned a lot about just making regular pasta at home and how to make that better!

Phil was a knowledgable and entertaining instructor who shared his passions with the class. I would label this class more of a cooking demonstration than a hands-on class as we mostly observed Phil's techniques and tasted the finished recipes. I enjoyed that Phil showed how easy it is to make high quality gelato, riccota, cannoli's etc with just a few ingredients and a few steps.

The Pasta 101 class was in a kitchen/classroom at the Whole Foods on Kingsbury. It was a nice environment and allowed wine-- we were also provided with paper and pens for notes. Phillipe taught us how to make three pasta dishes using everyday ingredients: one fettuccine pasta with tomatoes and lemon, another fettuccine pasta with pesto, and another ravioli pasta with chocolate and ricotta. The dishes was delicious, but I came in with the expectation that it would be a lot more hands on and that we'd be eating a lot more pasta. Phillipe allowed us to come up and roll out the dough as well as cut the dough, but that was about it. The portions we were served were also very small (tasting portions). I would've preferred more hands on experience, larger portions, and would recommend that they get a projector screen or reflecting mirror so that guests can see what's happening from our seats. It was very hard so see Phillipe and his assistant cooking unless we stood around the stove or he held something up. Other than those things, the class was a nice time-- fun environment overall.

I loved this classs. Can’t say enough about the instructor, Phillip Sobon and his assistant at Whole Foods. We made 2 different kinds of pasta, some French style gnocchi and fresh ricotta. The food was delicious. The teaching and hands on experience was priceless. I was able to roll out dough w/ the pasta machine w/ a little help and get a feel for the process, ask questions. I would take this class again. I learned so much. Phillip was great. Food teacher, personable, funny and down-to-earth. Look forward to more classes from Phillip.

Chef Phillipe did an awesome job getting all of the students engaged and excited about making pasta. He has a captvating personality and the jokes he weaves theoughout hos presentation are hilarious. Even though this is a demonstration course, it sure didn't feel like one. Anyone could volunteer to come up and help roll out and cut pasta, which makes a huge difference when you're home later trying to DIY. This is my first time taking a class with Dabble and it was a great one, excited to take more classes with Chef Phillipe and keep Dabbling!

This class was awesome! Learned the basics of making pasta, and have since bought my own pasta roller/cutter and can't wait to make these lessons come to life in my kitchen. Phillipe was a great teacher, answered all of our questions, and even taught us how to make ricotta from scratch. Looking forward to his advanced pasta lessons!

This was a great class! He made pasta making from scratch seem like something anyone can do. There are opportunities to participate and try everything. The teacher is also really cool about answering questions while he is teaching about cooking & his experiences on cooking shows/competitions.

There were some issues with communication and the class time was changed less than 24 hours before however once that was worked out the class was great and we learned a lot.

It was a nice educational fun sushi class. Since the market store is closed during the class, I think if there was instructions in the email on the doorbell or a sign outside the store would make me less worried on how to get in. Instructor was fun, entertaining & informative. I believe the rice was a tad undercooked, but we are working with the time we have so can't say it was a bad experience. I did appreciate the tips he had for us. Overall, good experience and delicious turnout on our sushi making.
