Calling all maids of honor, best men, PR reps, stand up comedians and presidential candidates!
Chances are, at some point in the near future, you'll have to stand up in front of a (hopefully adoring) crowd and razzle dazzle them with your words. Speeches are as unavoidable in life as going to the dentist, and sometimes they can be just as scary or disastrous. But they can also be humorous, touching and hilarious ... and bring about a greater good.
This Dabble class is a pressure-free introduction to public speaking to prep you for your upcoming gig. We'll break down the experience of public speaking into easily digestible bits. Then we'll teach you a few fail proof tips for appearing calm and collected under pressure, speaking clearly and coherently (even if you've had a few to drink, wedding guests ... ), adding acceptable humor into your presentations and even how to make effective eye-contact with your audience.
Walk away confident that you'll get up to the mic with more than just a prayer and a vision of the audience in their skivvies to go on.

Ed Jiovani has been in the acting / comedy industry for over 20 years, professionally for over 7 years. Throughout that time, he's been sharing his knowledge by coaching others looking to break into the industry for over 3 years. Some of his work includes the following: being the Co-Host "Yard Sale Showdown" for HGTV, a role on the sitcom "Capitol Hill," a role in a PSA with Denver Nuggets Coach Karl, a Comcast on Demand Special, the mocumentary film "Westminster Wife Show," a spot on the NBC's "Last Comic Standing," a role in Indie film "0oZLe p0ol" Independent Film (2011) and appearances in the stand-up comedy release "Are Ya High Dude?!" Additionally, Ed has made many radio appearances as co-host of Barefootradio.com, and on XM/Sirius Comedy Networks.
