Event Overview

Capture the beautiful summer rays with a handmade sun catcher! Participants will use reclaimed bits of glass to compose a custom design. Theresa, community artist and teacher, will demonstrate how to safely use a glass cutter and grinder to get custom shapes from privacy windows, wine bottle bottoms, and colored glass to compose their sun-catcher designs. Participants will learn how to use copper foil, flux, and lead-free solder to assemble their colorful, textured glass pieces.

Offered with a minimum of 3 and max of 6.
